Key Performance Areas (KPAs)
- Develop Fraud Reports and Dashboards
- Regular Rule-Set Review, Impact and Scoreband Analysis
- Report Automation
- Create Fraud Tools to optimize efficiency in Fraud Risk Team as well as in Fraud Operations Team
- Understand and execute the business short and long-term strategy within the Fraud Risk Team
- Attend to escalations from fraud analyst and fraud investigators / fraud operations team
- Data Extracts and adhoc reports as required by Head of Fraud Strategy
- Daily monitoring of credit intake to act on potential fraud threats and implement changes to strategies and rules immediately
- Monthly review of all fraud trends per channel and recommend changes
- Establish and maintain appropriate data governance
- Data Steward for Fraud Risk Team
- Participate in the recruitment and talent management process within Fraud Risk Team
- Be able to build predictive and analytical models within the Fraud environment
- Be skilled in SQL and data analytics tools
- Keep updated with fraud trends and new MO’s per channel
- Assist with training requirements in Fraud (Risk and Operations)

Qualifications & Accreditations
- A numerate degree e.g. BCom, B Bus Sci, B Eng, BSc preferred but not required

Experience & Skills
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in Fraud risk
- Advanced computer literacy skills with a high proficiency in MS Excel
- Excellent presentation skills
- The ability to integrate and interpret numerical and statistical information
- Advanced SQL skills required
- Experience in BI-Development
