**People and Culture Manager**:
- REQUISITION ID: 7589- LOCATION: Cape Town, ZA, 8001- DEPARTMENT: People & Culture (HR)**Purpose of Role**
The HR Manager is to support and align the overall group HR policies and HR Value Chain whilst working closely with management to ensure that the Nordex SA strategic objectives are achieved. Our position in the marketplace requires HR to be hands on, travel to each of the wind farms will be required.
**Key Responsibilities [Key Performance Areas]**
**Operations and HR Business Partnering**
- Ensure that sound relationships are maintained between managers and employees across Service and Operations teams
- Provide guidance and advice to employees and managers on operational matters and respond to all queries timeously.
- Facilitate the implementation of organizational changes
- Provide an effective human resources consultancy and advisory service to line managers.
- Identify and take steps to bring about improvements in HR areas.
- Provide training, coaching and guidance to managers on the implementation of HR processes
- Educate managers and employees on the company policies and procedures and ensure that all HR practices are fair, consistent and executed within the boundaries of relevant HR policies and procedures.
- HR administration including compilations and upkeep of job profiles and descriptions
- HR systems management and maintenance (Succesfactors)
- Constant review of internal policies and procedures and recommend changes when necessary
**Employment Equity**
- Draft and review the Employment Equity plans according to legislation
- Ensure that Employment Equity training is conducted and that meetings are held quarterly with the forum
- Monitor company targets and goals and drive achievement
- Prepare and submit annual report
**Recruitment and Selection**
- Oversee the recruitment processes across the companies
- Oversee that the recruitment needs per department are met
- Ensure that the necessary authorizations pertaining to the recruitment process
- Ensure all employees participate in a standard onboarding programme
- Support succession planning
- Meet set deadlines according to the HR strategy
**Employee Relations / Wellness**
- Effectively manage Industrial/Employee Relations activities to support business continuity which includes Disciplinary enquiries and advising on Industrial Relations matters
- Grievance Management
- Monitors and ensures the business’s compliance with local employment laws and other applicable legislation
- Embed Employee Wellness Initiatives within the business
**Training and Development**
- Support in the design and implementation of training matrixes across all departments
- Manage the young talent development and bursary programme
- Track and maintain training data
- Prepare and submit the WSP and ATR
**Performance Management**
- Manage and implement the performance appraisal system - Compass Dialogs
**Employee Engagement/Change Management**
- Improve morale and employee retention
- Promote the organisational values
**Reporting**
- Completion of external and internal reporting requirements in an accurate and timeous manner

**Experience, Knowledge & Qualifications**
- Minimum of 3-5 years' experience, preferably within a renewable energy HR Environment with exposure to Industrial Relations
- Bcom Human Resource Management, or relevant Law or Industrial Relations qualification (Minimum NQF 7 qualification).
- Must have confidence and be self-motivated
- Must be able to function independently.
- Must have experience and extensive knowledge of LRA and BCEA as well HR best practice
