**EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS**:

- Grade 12, relevant tertiary qualification would be an advantage
- At least 3 years’ relevant/related experience within the tyre/manufacturing industry
- Valid driver’s license
- Proficient in Microsoft office and SAP (intermediate to advanced Excel skills)
- Strong communication, interpersonal and negotiating skills
- Ability to deal professionally with suppliers and customers
- Ability to work without supervision

**PRINCIPLE DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Order management: Generate import & export orders.
- Transport planning / booking. Warehouse movements and Intercompany shipments. Aligned with all customs and import/export policies and laws
- Submit monthly 18-month rolling sales forecast and 3-month rolling requirements from production ticket to Region
- Maintain correct stock levels by size and type in order to achieve sales targets
- Management of Customer collections, Shipment and Customer deliveries
- Maintaining contact with clients and third parties (freight forwarder, customs, banks etc..) about shipments.
- Liaising with third parties to move goods (by road, ocean & air) in accordance with customer requirements.
- Request quotations and find best possible solution to meet these requirements within budget.
- Place monthly purchase orders for regional allocations
- Liaise with source plans regarding stock queries and production dates
- Manage inbound process for shipments and liaise with clearing agents when required
- Daily customer liaison in respect of requirement and allocation of stock to customer back-orders
- Customer quotes when needed and monitor daily deliveries to customers
- Maintain customer past dues
- Daily interaction with warehouse staff
- Accurate record keeping in respect of industry governing bodies
- Monitor exchange rates and freight costs
- Ensure GP margins are met for all products
- Continuous Improvement: Improve services and processes to meet and exceed internal requirements and customers’ expectations.
- Ordering of and managing all office requirements

**PRIMARY PURPOSE OF THE ROLE**:
Co-ordinate EMEA Import & Export Planning and Execution of product.

Customer and Vendor Relationship Management

Connectivity with Regional Operations, Finance and Log Cost control, liaise with local and regional organisations

One Team: Strong collaboration with sales and other functional areas to deliver operational excellence according to the one team philosophy.
