**Minimum requirements for the role**:

- Previous experience having worked as a Procurement Administrator or Junior Buyer role is preferred.
- Previous experience having worked within the chemical industry is preferred but not essential.
- Previous experience having worked on Pastel Partner is essential for the role.
- Basic Excel skills are essential for the role.
- Computer literacy is essential.
- Must have good written and verbal communication skills.
- Must always be presentable, professional and courteous.
- Must be a team player and be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Working with Pastel Partner processing relevant orders and information on their system.
- Procuring all their chemicals for the factory.
- Handling all imports and exports.
- Creating and maintaining supplier and store information on Pastel.
- Creating and maintaining inventory codes, descriptions and bill of materials.
- Processing proforma invoices /quotes, delivery notes, invoices, purchase orders, supplier invoices etc.
- Adding and updating specific customer prices on Pastel.
- Compiling weekly stock reports and weekly sales reports.
- Managing stock movements for the Durban warehouse.
- Liaising with freight forwarder for all shipments.
- Completing all relevant documents for shipments.
- Requesting estimates from freight forwarders.
