We are looking for a passionate and knowledgeable Solar Technical Sales Advisor to join our dynamic team.

**Responsibilities**:

- Handle incoming leads, engage with potential customers, and manage client relationships to ensure their needs are understood and addressed.
- Conduct meetings with prospective and existing clients to gather insights into their needs, explain the company’s offerings, and propose suitable solutions.
- Be knowledgeable about the company's products and services, and effectively communicate the value proposition to customers based on their requirements.
- Prepare detailed cost estimates, proposals, and ROI calculations for solar energy systems.
- Conduct site assessments to determine system viability and optimal design.
- Maintain detailed sales records, track customer interactions, and manage all sales-related administration, ensuring up-to-date information on leads and deals.
- Work closely with the sales support team and marketing department to identify new sales opportunities and strategies. Report on sales performance and share insights that can help refine processes or improve customer satisfaction.
- Educate customers on solar energy benefits, system performance, and financial incentives (e.g., rebates, tax credits).
- Negotiate and close sales, ensuring a smooth handover to the installation and customer support teams.
- Maintain relationships with customers and provide after-sales support as needed.
- Stay up to date on industry trends, new products, and regulatory changes affecting solar energy.

**Qualifications**:

- 5+ years of experience in a sales role, preferably with experience in the construction industry or solar energy.
- Proven experience in solar energy sales, preferably with technical knowledge of solar products and systems.
- Strong understanding of renewable energy principles and solar technologies.
- Be a personable, relationship-oriented individual, capable of professionally managing client interactions and building lasting customer relationships. Proficiency in preparing cost estimates and financial proposals.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong customer service focus.
- Be process-oriented with the ability to manage sales administration efficiently, using tools like Excel and CRM systems (HubSpot experience is a plus).
- Minimum Grade 12. Any other type of customer service and electrical solar qualifications will be an advantage.
- Valid Drivers License and ability to travel to meet clients as required.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: R20 000,00 per month
