Motor Part Supply Specialist

What will you do?

A position has become available within Santam Motor Claims for a Motor Part Supply Specialist who will be based in Gauteng.

Ensure feedback from suppliers is received and discussed with system management and developers.
Provide ongoing feedback on system enhancements based on experience.
Liaise with all stakeholders to ensure development items are identified, actioned and implemented successfully.
Identification of areas of improvement for suppliers and internally and identify gaps in suppliers and parts availability.
Drive strategic sourcing initiatives.
Show acumen towards driving new initiatives.
Identifying areas to improve savings.
Identifying supplier gaps.
Manage contracted supplier database and new suppliers.
Ensure necessary compliance processes are adhered to.
Address issues and service levels with suppliers.
Internal stakeholder management between operations, clients and group sourcing.
Qualification and Experience

Matric.
BComm (preferable) or equivalent being a Procurement Qualification with other relevant qualifications.
Member of Charted Institute of Purchasing and Supply (CIPS) with level 3/4 or equivalent CIPS training.
Experience in sourcing, contracting and supplier management across multiple spend categories.
Minimum of 5-7 years practical experience in procurement and/or supply chain environment (Preferable) in a short-term insurance or related. Knowledge and Skills
