**Admin Clerk (Retail Store) - Spar SaveMor in Maitland**
Spar SaveMor is looking for a analytical and enthusiastic **Admin Clerk** to join our team at **Spar SaveMor** in **Maitland, Cape Town.** The position will report to the **Store Manager**.
**Responsibilities**:
- Customer Service - the employee is to help and serve every customer with a smile
- Keep a clean and safe work environment
- Keep a clean and clutter free department & backups the employee is to practice “CLEAN AS YOU GO” concept, wash all shelving and any other equipment used in the department.
- Capture and record all invoices on the SIGMA system as a GRV.
- Capture and record all Waste and IDT’s /IBT’S on the system.
- Keep record and file all GRVs and IDTS/IBT’s and Stock adjustments.
- Capture and record all Claims
- Submit all Invoices to your department manager every start of each day. All daily GRVs must be done and captured the day the stock arrives.
- Adjust and correct and align all cost prices as per invoices also correct all selling prices to meet the Benchmark required G.P % margins.
- Daily pricing updates must be pulled and labels printed and handed over to the relevant managers.
- Plan and Capture and finalise all weekly, quarterly and annual stock takes.
- Promotional planning to be done as per SIGMA with the correct cost and selling prices and that includes multiple selling products
- Loading and creating of new PLU codes (including scale codes) with the correct cost price and selling price.
- The employee shall from time to time be called upon to perform other duties as instructed by the manager.
- The employee shall report directly to the department manager/supervisor.
**Requirements**:
- Previous experience in a retail or administrative role is preferred but not required.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills, with the ability to reconcile financial transactions accurately.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-centric approach.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a dynamic retail environment.
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
- Knowledge of retail POS systems and inventory management software is a plus.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Matric or equivalent qualification.
- Reliable transport to and from the Store.
