**Position**:
Marketing Coordinator

**Objective**:
The Marketing Coordinator are responsible for developing, implementing, and executing strategic marketing plans for the company (or lines of business and brands within an organization) to attract potential customers and retain existing ones.

The position consists of planning, creating, and executing marketing campaigns to expand the reach and potential client pipelines, determining the demand for products and services offered by the company. Advanced language skills, communication and written form, and he/she they will be responsible for editorial duties on all marketing material.

**Duties and responsibilities summary include but not limited to**:

- Consult with Management to gain advice regarding the types of products or services expected to be in demand.
- Compose accurate and dependable body copy and perform editorial duties on all outgoing marketing and creative material - internal and external.
- Plan and conduct promotional activities and trade shows, working with developers, advertisers, and production managers to market products and services.
- Balance firm objectives and customer satisfaction.
- Formulate, direct and coordinate marketing activities and policies to promote products and services, working with advertising and promotion agencies
- Develop, evaluate, and identify marketing strategies in light of establishment objectives, market characteristics, and cost considerations.
- Initiate market research studies and analyse their findings.
- Develop and oversee company marketing campaigns that are effective and measurable.
- Implement marketing strategy.
- Communicate effectively with prospects and existing clients to ensure success.
- Represent the marketing team to cross-functional groups including product management, sales, or client support.
- Updating senior leadership on the progress of marketing activities and reporting on the results of campaigns.
- Manage and coordinate marketing and creative staff and service providers.
- Lead market research efforts to uncover the viability of current and existing products/services.
- Collaborate with media organisations’ and advertising agencies.
- Brainstorm ideas for new campaigns.
- Coordinate with the sales team and other departments to produce effective strategies.
- Monitor current campaigns, ensuring their staff meets deadlines and complete necessary tasks
- Evaluate marketing efforts by analyzing data and coming up with new ideas to improve brand marketing and exposure.
- Perform SEO, analytics and implementation of digital marketing campaigns from a creative and coordinative standpoint, this including all web and SM based channels.
- Build effective and measurable marketing funnels and adjust them as needed.
- Be skilled and experienced in implementing various media ranging from audio visual, print, digital, roadside, radio and broadcast, press.
- Lead and implement an effective content calendar.
- Manage budgets and assign effective budgeting strategy to flighting line items.
- Collaboratively create an effective annual and quarterly marketing strategy and implement it.
- Establish, nurture, and maintain effective relationships with publication partners, service providers, and account managers.

**Qualifications**:

- Tertiary qualification - Marketing
- Preferably Degree

**Knowledge and Competencies**:

- Outstanding verbal, written and communication skills in both Afrikaans and English
- Marketing vs Sales
- Demonstrated project management experience
- Research and analytical skills
- Industry best practises
- Media and digital technology
- Understanding of digital marketing tools and tactics
- Financial Services Industry (advantageous)

**Experience**:

- Minimum 5-7 years in a similar role.
- Experience in supporting marketing campaigns and conducting research to understand the company’s customer base and ability to reach campaign objectives.
