We are looking for a Digital Marketing Manager to join our team in Cape town, South Africa This individual will be brought on to develop, implement, track and optimize our digital marketing campaigns across all digital channels. This is a phenomenal opportunity to grow and hone a full range of digital marketing skills.

In order to succeed in this role, you will need a strong grasp of current marketing tools and strategies and be able to lead integrated digital marketing campaigns from concept to execution. Digital marketing managers will work with the marketing team, supporting teams (such as programmers), and vendors to launch campaigns on time and on budget. You will report to the Head of Acquisition and Performance and works closely with the brand and planning and creative teams.

**Location: Capetown, South Africa (hybrid, 1-2 times a week in the office)**

**Timing: 4pm-12am SAST**

**What you will be doing**:

- Leading Quark Expedition’s team of digital marketers and developers, plan and execute all digital marketing efforts, including SEO/SEM marketing database, l, social media and display advertising campaigns
- Work closely with our global CRO team to help plan and develop quarterly testing and execution plans. Work with same team to help measure and evaluate success
- Measure and report performance of all digital marketing campaigns, and assess against goals (return on investment and critical metrics)
- Work with manager to monitor and provide recommendations for our lead and conversion funnels
- Identify trends and insights, and optimize spend and performance based on the insights
- Work with our creative team to keep website current and up to date with all our created content
- Brainstorm new and creative growth strategies
- Collaborate with internal teams to build landing pages and optimize user experience
- Instrument conversion points and optimize user funnels
- Collaborate with agencies and other vendor partners as needed
- Evaluate emerging technologies. Provide thought leadership and perspective for adoption where appropriate

**What we are looking for**:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or related field or related experience
- Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, advise and empower
- Experience in optimizing landing pages and user funnels
- Experience with A/B and multivariate experiments
- Solid knowledge of website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics)
- Experience in setting up and optimizing Google Adwords campaigns
- Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript development and constraints
- Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking
- Experience handling marketing budgets and forecasting/reporting results
- Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement
