Client Desirability Analyst

Job Description
To protect the bank by fulfilling and making informed decisions on Group screening, monitoring and reporting requirements in line with segment risk appetite, thereby mitigating incidence of financial crimes against the business
- Build working relationships across teams and functional lines to enhance work delivery, collaboration and innovation.
- Prevent wastage and identify process improvements to contain and reduce costs.
- Ensure compliance to legislative and audit requirements and adherence to relevant processes.
- Profile customers to determine business risk.
- Provide an administration service that meet time and quality standards and includes reporting and updating of all relevant information.
- Plan and complete activities within area of work to meet set time and quality standards.
- Adhere to schedules to perform assigned work.
- Attend and facilitate meetings as and when required.
- Maintain documentation and share information with the team where applicable.
- Take all necessary actions to ensure compliance with relevant statutory, legislative, policy and governance requirements in area of accountability.
- Ensure implementation of relevant policies, governance and practice standards across the business.
- Maintain expert knowledge on relevant legislative amendments, industry best practices and business internal compliance procedures and requirements.
- Ensure compliance is adopted in terms of systems and procedures as laid out by the business.
- Implement and provide input into the development of governance and compliance procedures and processes within area of specialisation and identify risks.
- Plan and organise multiple work outputs by assigning priorities and continuously reviewing objectives and goals.
- Use appropriate data analysis and information gathering techniques from internal and external sources to profile customers and complete required documentation.
- Provide timely and accurate reports on operations, performance and audit findings progress.
- Make decisions on client desirability and transactional activity progression within set guidelines and quality standards.
- Provide quality assurance by analysing, interpreting and validating recommendations from system generated reports and make informed written decisions.
- Deliver on contracted performance objectives, by conducting accurate quality assurance checks according to the set procedures and agreed service level agreements.
- Analyse, interpret and validate recommendations from system generated reports to make informed written decisions regarding client desirability.
