- To provide analysis of data, research, information and perform investigative analysis to support Institutional Sales Specialists who identify opportunities and develop relationships with Institutional investors and investment consultants in assigned institutional market channels**experience and qualifications**:

- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Engineering, or other quantitative discipline
- Honours or Postgraduate qualification in Computer Science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Engineering, or other quantitative discipline
- 3 to 5 years broad understanding in cross-asset experience in a similar environment, of which 1 to 2 years ideally at junior (entry level) management level
- Knowledge Required: Experience in non-linear products: vanilla and exotics, volatility, correlation.

**responsibilities**:

- Collaborate closely with relevant business units and FNB product houses as per strategy to identify revenue opportunities
- Drive opportunities for revenue growth and cost reduction such as adoption of digital and other self service options across client base
- Deliver customer experience excellence aligned to Organisational values and service standards
- Build professional long-term relationships with customers based on trust that builds the brand
- Collect and interrogate information and feedback to ensure full understanding of customer needs to deliver a quality service
- Provide customers with relevant information to keep them informed of products and service options
- Analyse and research specific products to initiate and implement mathematical modelling of the trade in line with given requirements
- Provide Traders and Structurers with functionality so that they can use the model and liaise directly with Trader
- Support any trade or business approved by the DCF
- Model the pricing and run standard and VAR stresses on the model and its output prices
- Work closely with sales management to develop and execute a sales strategy targeting specific segments of the interest rates market
- Collaborate with product and technology teams to innovate by developing new interest rates trading protocols and operational efficiencies
- Maximise franchise value from each client by cross selling with other internal teams
- Execute transactions in a constantly changing market environment
- Adapt to dynamic conditions with creativity, energy, and an entrepreneurial spirit to meet the evolving demands of the marketplace
- Communicate with other members of the trading and research teams
- Analyse financial instruments, equities, derivatives, futures, swaps, and fixed income assets to assess a client’s portfolio
- Develop value added ideas, improving marketing and sales relationships, and improve product positioning
- Ensure compliance with relevant statutory, legislative, policy and governance requirements in area of accountability
- Ensure implementation of relevant policies, governance and practice standards across the business
- Maintain knowledge on relevant legislative amendments, industry best practices and internal compliance procedures and requirements
- Ensure compliance is adopted in terms of systems and procedures as laid out by organisation and review in response to audit findigns and changes
- Develops an understanding of risks and risk management approaches
- Implement and provide input into the development of governance and compliance procedures and processes within area of specialisation and identify risks
- Educates others and makes suggestions for improvements
- Networks and participates in specialist risk forums where required
