- A national hospitality chain is actively searching for a tech-savvy professional who possesses a strong passion for ensuring smooth technology operations and delivering outstanding support. The role they are seeking to fill is that of an IT Infrastructure and Support Specialist. The primary responsibility of this position will be to provide support and maintenance for the brand office's technology infrastructure, with a focus on ensuring the implementation and continuous support of all necessary environments to facilitate seamless operations. This position is based full-time in Midrand.

**Responsibilities**:

- Infrastructure:

- Execute system upgrades as required by the business, based on assigned projects or technology changes.
- Perform regular system checks to monitor the overall health of the environment, logging and resolving any issues or anomalies.
- Ensure that all backup environments are functioning within set intervals and conduct monthly checks to confirm integrity and recoverability.
- Maintain a comprehensive list of company software, including licenses, renewal dates, purpose, and custodians, aligning it with the annual budgeted purchases of software licenses.
- Optimise and install user computers based on the warranty schedule or as decided otherwise.
Support:

- Provide timely support to all company users, utilising third-party suppliers according to predetermined SLAs.
- Address and resolve any support needs that fall outside existing SLAs, which may include managing user accounts, Microsoft 365 platform environments, hardware and software troubleshooting, and more.
- Offer limited support to franchisees for franchise-related systems as prescribed by your leader.
Service Providers:

- Manage and maintain company Vodacom contracts, ensuring the timely renewal and cancellation of obsolete agreements as approved by the leader.
Processes:

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field.
- Proven experience in IT infrastructure management and support.
- Strong knowledge of hardware, software, networking, and Microsoft 365 platform.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with technology policies and procedures.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills.
