**Minimum requirements for the role**:

- Must have tertiary qualification in Financial Mathematics, Engineering, Finance or Supply Chain Management
- Experience in the Chemicals industry is desirable
- Knowledge of BI Tools (Tableu, Qlik, Panjeeva, etc) is essential
- Must have an understanding of supply chain network
- Costing and Cost modelling, Financial and/or Mathematical modelling skills will be required
- Must be computer literate with experience in ERP system/procurement
- Developing a BI service culture which builds profitability, propose innovations in cost and pricing controls.
- Allowing sales to provide predictive pricing based on market trends and inherently good customer service.
- Developing and providing strategic input based on past, current, future (modelling) trends on monthly, quarterly, bi-annual and annual basis.
- Utilising BI Tools and providing solutions to pricing value chain cycle that ensure the strategic targets of the business are met.
- Leading the setting up and implementation of intellectual data management process, implementation and utilisation for the purpose of cost and pricing controls.
- Collaborating with Sales and Commercial to develop goals, objectives and strategies to improve business performance in terms of Profitability at customer level, identifying pricing and control gaps, presenting solutions using BI Tools.
- Managing subscriptions, licenses, costs, effective usage and controls of BI Tools (e.g. Tableau, IHS, ICIS, Panjiva).
