- Stock: Monitor stock levels; communicate discrepancies noted w.r.t. stock shortages. Ensure that the FIFO system is strictly adhered to w.r.t. stock.
- Dispatch of Goods:

- On receipt of documentation request Materials Handlers to pick product per order for dispatch.
- Ensure all product for dispatch has been correctly picked and that quantities correspond with documentation and that no damaged product is picked for delivery or loaded onto trucks for delivery.

Dispatch of trucks to do deliveries
- Ensure all cargo is checked and verified before wrapping takes place.
- Ensure trucks are loaded prior to close of business daily (where possible) and also on availability of stock.
- Ensure accurate final checks
- Ensure safe unloading and loading of 3rd party transporters as per policy and procedures.
- Ensure 3rd party trucks and company trucks are legal, i.e. properly licensed, signage and relevant permits are in place.
- Regular communication with Depots w.r.t. delivery performances.
- Monitor return of documentation once deliveries/collections are complete, record differences between quantities declared as being delivered or collected and delivery notes
- Ensure compliance with Road Transport Act and legislation pertaining to transport of dangerous chemicals.
- Ensure proper treatment w.r.t. return of damaged goods.
- Adhere to all legislation relating to transport of agro chemicals and transportation in general.
- Adherence to standard loading regulations.
- Stock Control:

- Assist with stock takes on site. Carry out daily cycle counts each morning after trucks have departed with deliveries of stock including reconciliation thereof and strive to minimise stock levels, stock damages and shrinkage.
- Act as back up for Warehouse Team Leader
- Ensure good housekeeping standards are maintained in areas of responsibility.
- Maintain internal controls and ensure compliance thereof and ensure good warehouse practise.
- Appreciate the importance of customer satisfaction and responding to this accordingly.
- Ensure all returned products are seals, have not expired and that they are in an acceptable condition.
- Ensure al broken or leaking products are replaced or returned to the supplier/s.
- Supervise staff complement under the control of the Dispatch Team Leader.

**Qualifications & Experience**:

- Minimum education Grade 12.
- Diploma relating to supervision and/or Warehouse distribution advantageous.
- Minimum 3 years’ relevant experience in logistics, distribution, production or warehousing as a Dispatch Team Leader or Supervisor.
- Prior supervisory experience advantageous.
- Previous experience in stock management systems, e.g. Syspro or SAP R3 is required.
- Possess good customer relationship skills
- Possess a sound knowledge of all Acts, i.e. hazardous chemicals, road transportation, etc.
- Must be able to drive a forklift
- Computer literate MS Office (Word/Excel/Outlook)
- Knowledge of.Net advantageous
- Working knowledge of Syspro
- Must be a team player
- Must be safety orientated.
- Must be able to work independently as well as within a team and be deadline driven
