**Job purpose**:
The incumbent’s role will be to ensure that all incoming goods (products and packaging) are in good order before approval and to ensure that there are no deviations when orders are dispatched to customers.

**Minimum requirements**:

- Grade twelve.
- Minimum 2 years’ Quality Control work experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

**Main areas of responsibility include**:
Verification of all Incoming Raw Material and packaging (in some cases after hours when necessary):

- Complete Delivery Vehicle Checklist.
- Complete Inspection of Incoming Raw Material from Approved suppliers list.
- Ensure that goods are accurately weighed off by Warehouse personnel and correlates with Delivery Note/Supplier Invoice.
- Check that all documentation is compiled and captured by Warehouse.
- Ensure all incoming IBC’s/drums/Kegs/CIBC’s etc are inspected and checklist approved before signing off.
- Take completed QC Packs to QC Lab for immediate action.
- Report any deviations of incoming raw material/packaging to QA Manager/Food Safety Team Leader.
- Daily checks on storage conditions of ingredients and flavours etc. final and raws.

Verification of all Dispatched orders to customers (in some cases after hours if necessary):

- Verify that COA’s and information on product labels correlate.
- Ensure Dispatch Vehicle Checklist are completed, and actions taken if necessary.
- Ensure customer orders are in perfect condition before dispatch (from Final product Warehouse and Novo).

General Hygiene condition verification:

- Check general hygiene condition of Receiving store & Store Area.
- Check general hygiene condition of Final Store by completing Daily Checklist and Store Area Monthly Cleaning and Inspection (Final Store).
- Food Safety Team Member. Report any gaps in the system and participate in opportunities for improvement.
- Ensure Weighing - and Sampling Room neat and tidy.

Pest Control:

- Ensure all bait stations are in good condition.
- Report any pest activity immediately.
- Report any bird activity in Warehouses immediately.
- Ensure Warehouse doors are closed at all times when not in use.

Documentation:

- Ensure all checklists are completed immediately.
- Ensure QC packs are complete before taking to QC lab.
- Ensure hygiene checklists are completed.
- Monitor complaints to identify opportunities for improvement in area of responsibilities.
- Ensure all documents put up on walls (Receiving, Sample Room, Weighing Room and Final product Warehouse are the latest versions).

**Salary**: R 10 000 per month + 13th cheque + benefits
