Core Description
The primary role of a Software Asset Management (SAM) specialist is to reduce the compliance risks of our customers and enable cost savings. The SAM specialist will be involved in understanding the complex licensing terms and customer usage data to reconcile the collected data and provide a simplified view. They will be responsible for the establishment and continuous execution of the Microsoft software audit functions. Key Deliverables / Primary Functions Gather accurate data across systems by deploying SAM tools to determine required changes for the customer. Providing Microsoft audit defence using different data sources and helping to optimise software costs. Monitor the level of client satisfaction at regular intervals or after each significant delivery of product or service. Provide sound licensing options based on proposed strategic technology objectives of the customer and related service offerings by BCX. Assisting Licensing Consultants on complex environments and managing each SAM project effectively to meet/exceed customer expectations. Make use of Microsoft tools like MAP tool to deliver accurate maturity assessments to customers. Recommend and encourage changes that will benefit the customer and drive client retention Provide Microsoft audit defence using different data sources and helping to optimise software costs. 3 years’ experience with Microsoft licensing solutions

Grade 12 & 5 years’ experience with Microsoft licensing solutions Certifications Cloud-based certifications Microsoft licensing Professional Memberships in Relevant Industry Level of Engagement & Span of Control
