Plant Controller

**Duties and Responsibilities**:
1) Prepare Daily, Weekly & Monthly financial reports, monthly forecasts, annual operating plan, overall strategic planning, budget, cash flow, sales and OI walk analysis, etc.
2) Responsible for internal controls and CSOX compliance at the plant level.
3) Ensure compliance with the applicable Accounting Policies and Principles.
4) Maintain proper control over inventory, including stock counts and variance analysis.
5) Maintain proper control over Capex, including capex spending, stocktaking and variance analysis.
6) Analyse and accurately report current month’s financial results to the plant and corporate management in accordance with corporate format and time requirements.
7) Ensure all accounting transactions and entries have been posted and are correctly allocated in PLEX (ERP). Investigate Manufacturing variances and make recommendations to the root cause analysis.
8) Coordinate any audits with the outside auditors and customer audits.
9) Organising and Control of the Finance Department.
10) Submit all financial transactions, transmissions, and reporting on a timely and accurate basis.
11) Identifies cost reduction and profit improvement opportunities and makes appropriate recommendations for implementing plans to address them.
12) Oversee IT function.
13) Attend daily plant production meetings.
14) Ensures compliance with all statutory requirements
15) Assist in the completion of special projects
**Qualification and Experience**:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting (CASA or MBA would be an advantage).
- Minimum 6 years experience in a manufacturing environment with at least 1 years in a managerial position (experience in automotive industry would be an advantage)
- Systems administration experience.
