**Industrial Plant Controller**

**East London**

A vacancy has arisen in the financial department of an automotive manufacturer in East London.

**Purpose of Job**:
To control and take ownership of the Eastern Cape Region’s financial performance (P&L) by ensuring financial targets and KPI’s are met.

**Key Performance Areas**
- Financial planning and reporting
- Industrial controlling activities
- Financial reporting
- Internal financial controls management
- Financial management (costing)
- Manage external stakeholders

**Minimum qualifications/Experience required**:

- BCom Accounting Degree
- CIMA would be advantageous
- Minimum 5 years + experience in the automotive industry
- Navision/Uptime experience would be advantageous
- Articles would be advantageous

**Knowledge required**:

- Good business acumen
- Financial costing, management, and reporting
- Project Management
- Legislation - Financial, contractual, labour and manufacturing
- Technical aptitude - automotive manufacturing processes (environment)

**Skills required**:

- Fluent in English
- Strong ability to prioritize and work well under pressure to meet set deadlines
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Self -driven and motivated
- Attention to detail
- Problem solving skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Strong leadership skills
- Advanced computer literacy
- Mobile (domestic and international)

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: R1,200,000.00 per year

Ability to commute/relocate:

- East London, Eastern Cape: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- Bachelors (preferred)

**Experience**:

- financial accounting in automotive manufacturing: 5 years (preferred)

License/Certification:

- CIMA qualification (preferred)
