**Main functions**
- Supervises Production planning accordingly with the customer’s delivery programs
- Supervises the Purchasing planning accordingly with the production plan
- Supervises plant facilities and machinery to ensure all is in good condition
- Assures that the workers under his responsibility observe the quality system of the company
- Control the expenses of the plant
- Control of the sales of the plant
- Check the evolution of the stocks
- Coordinates the operation of the different departments under his command, establishes objectives and monitors compliance with the objectives and evaluates those responsible for each area in line with their performance under objective criteria
- Customer management
- Ensure compliance with the internal rules between staff and workers (security rules, quality rules, discipline rules, objective)
- Preparation of annual and quarterly budgets and budgetary control, analyzing deviations and proposing corrective measures
- Report to General Management on the economic result of the different operations that are carried out in the plant

**Education**

Tertiary qualification in Mechanical Engineering or similar. Alternatively, Business/Administration qualification

**Experience**
- Strong technical/mechanical understanding and acumen
- Demonstrated experience in a similar position/s in a manufacturing environment (compulsory)
- Automotive experience (valuable)
