- We are looking for an experienced Commercial and Enterprises Manager to develop the Commercial Management and Enterprises Section of the the Chinko Conservation Area (CCA) in a manner that ensures that all of the obligations outlined in the PPP Agreement are adequately met and systems put in place to ensure effective implementation and management of all commercial, tourism, nature-based income streams and community enterprise activities in and around Chinko Conservation Area (CCA) as outlined in the 5-year Business Plans.**Key Functions**:

- Existing concessions- Conduct full due diligence process on all existing Tourism Concession Agreements (TCA) awarded in the park in conjunction with Park Manager and Head of Commercial APN to build a full understanding of the status quo and inform the Board of CCA on the way forward with these contracts.
- The Commercial and Enterprises Manager will be responsible for ensuring that the Terms and Conditions of each Tourism Concession Agreements are upheld and being adhered to by the respective parties, including Government.
- Ensure that each operator is being invoiced appropriately and in a timely manner and that all payments being made by concessionaires are being reconciled and reported on a monthly basis in collaboration with the Finance section.
- Conduct regular inspections of all camps and eventually lodges within the Park to ensure best environmental practices and waste management are being adhered to.
- Build a strong set of relationships with all of the Tourism Concession Agreements holders and applicants.
- New Concessions- In conjunction with Head of Commercial APN and the Park Manager, the Commercial and Enterprises Manager will lead any new Expression of Interest and Request for Proposal process around the award and subsequent development of any new or defunct concessions in the Chinko Conservation Area.
- The Commercial and Enterprises Manager will work with the Park Manager and Head of Commercial Development APN in negotiating the Terms and conditions of any new concessions with successful developers and operators.
- The Commercial and Enterprises Manager will be responsible for upholding the terms and conditions of any new concession agreements and ensuring that the relevant operator is accountable.
- Tourism, Enterprise Development and Other Plans- The Commercial and Enterprises Manager will drive the development of the Tourism Development Plan for Chinko Conservation Area in conjunction with the Park Manager, Head of Commercial APN, and other relevant stakeholders.
- The Commercial and Enterprises Manager will drive the process of identifying opportunities for sustainable community enterprise projects and compile all proposals and plans related there as well.
- The Commercial and Enterprises Manager will drive key planning processes that will have a direct bearing on commercial and/or enterprise activities and ensure that the outcome aligns with the Vision and Objectives of the Park management effort (e.g. General Management Plan and Fisheries Management Plans).

**Commercial Operations**

**Revenue**
- The Commercial and Enterprises Manager will be focused on achieving realistic and agreed stretch revenue targets for the Park. Chinko will need to focus on achieving 75% of its’ Opex through Commercial revenue in the fullness of the mandate.
- The Commercial and Enterprises Manager Manager will be responsible for ensuring the implementation and training on new revenue hardware and software at every Park gate and AP run facility as envisaged by Head Office for revenue collection and reporting.

**Commercial Infrastructure and Aesthetics**
- The Commercial and Enterprises Manager will be responsible for ensuring the upkeep professional appearance in line with the agreed Chinko Brand language of all guest facing facilities including entrance gates, hides, shops and any other park infrastructure associated with tourism.
- Ensuring all signage around the park is well maintained and accurate.
- Ensuring the Park architectural language is consistent and well maintained.
- The Commercial and Enterprises Manager will project manage key infrastructural developments which are of a Commercial nature, as envisaged in the Business Plan.

**Park Product**
- In conjunction with other members of Park management, developing and maintaining all game drive loop roads in the park.
- Enforcing and ensuring best practice of all rules and regulations concerning all walking, driving, boating and ballooning activities taking place in the park.
- Working with all tourism stakeholders to effectively create demand for Chinko as the destination of choice in CAR through innovative programs using media and market
