We are seeking a highly driven and strategic Enterprise Software Account Director to join our team. This is a key senior sales role responsible for driving revenue growth, managing high-value enterprise clients, and leading complex software sales cycles. You will work with some of South Africa's largest organisations, helping them navigate digital transformation through cutting-edge software, cloud, and cybersecurity solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive new business development and expand existing enterprise accounts.
  • Lead the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing multi-million-rand deals.
  • Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell across the software portfolio.
  • Client Relationship Management

  • Act as the primary point of contact for strategic enterprise clients.

  • Build trusted, long-term partnerships with senior stakeholders.
  • Understand client needs and position relevant enterprise solutions.
  • Contract & Commercial Negotiations
  • Lead high-value contract discussions with clients, legal, finance, and procurement.
  • Ensure favourable terms while managing commercial risks.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Work closely with technical, presales, marketing, and delivery teams to ensure successful solution design and implementation.
  • Provide insights into client trends and market changes.
  • Reporting & Forecasting
  • Maintain accurate pipeline and forecasting data in CRM systems.
  • Report regularly on sales performance and revenue projections

Qualifications:

  • Degree OR 10+ years of relevant experience.
  • Experience:
  • 7+ years in enterprise software sales, account management, or business development.
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
  • Experience managing complex enterprise sales cycles.
  • Strong understanding of SaaS, cloud computing, cybersecurity, and digital transformation.
  • Technical Knowledge (advantageous):
  • Cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • Cyber Security
  • AIOps / DevSecOps / AppSec / Mainframe
