**Receiving Operations Manager - Gauteng - Riverfields**

**The Opportunity**:
An opportunity has occurred for the role of Receiving Operations Manager who oversees the receiving of goods end to end and ensures a smooth flow into the DC by planning with merchants and suppliers, coordinate and collaborate with Freight forwarders to meet all delivery SLAs.

**Responsibilities**:

- To lead and direct receiving Operations.
- To engage, network and communicate with internal stakeholders, vendors, suppliers and stores to ensure swift query resolution and improved business performance.
- Achieve and drive the KPI’s relating to accuracy, speed, cost and compliance within the Distribution Centre.
- Manage and plan the day-to-day operations of your department.
- Planning unit flow against capacity and priority. Resource planning and manning.
- Turnaround time of inbound trucks.
- Managing supplier conformance.
- Liaise with other internal departments on daily production plans.
- Liaise with internal customer around stock flows.
- Review and improve distribution processes and workflows to create efficiencies.

**Requirements**:

- Qualifications
- BCom
- Experience: 5 years minimum
- Technical knowledge/experience: Retail and Logistics experience
- Systems knowledge: Competent in Excel, WMS, eCommerce software
