**Peach Payments**:
Peach Payments is a fast growing Pan-African PSP that makes online commerce and digital payment acceptance easier and more accessible across all Africa. We work with small and large sellers to provide a complete toolkit to accept, manage and disburse payments through web and mobile.

Our merchant partners include your favorite food delivery services, whether you’re ordering in or using a meal kit, travel services that can help you book your next getaway adventure and even your neighbor’s side-hustle e-commerce store.

For these partners and their customers, we aim to provide delightful experiences that make it as easy as possible to facilitate online payments.

You will be reporting to Laurian, our Team Lead in Merchant Support in BizOps, meet her here.

**Why we’re hiring for this role**:
As a POS Support Representative you will be expected to work with customers to identify POS system related problems and advise them on solutions. You’ll resolve most complex issues for our users, and work cross-functionally to deliver excellent experiences that optimize user experience and enable Peach’s growth at scale.

For this role, we are looking for people based in Cape Town

**Your mission, if you choose to accept it**:

- Improve terminal performance by identifying problems; recommending changes
- Research and resolve Point of Sale terminal issues and questions from our merchants and our Independent Sales Representatives.
- Advocate for optimizing our products and services on behalf of our users
- Drive initiatives and process changes to excel and scale our support operations
- Have an opportunity to learn how Peach operates from the ground up and make a real impact on the future of the organization

**What we'd like you to have**:

- Is passionate & energized by the helping customers & the challenge of solving difficult problems
- Can empathize with users and quickly grasp the issues they’re facing
- Is curious, loves learning about technical products
- Has strong communication skills, both written and verbally
- Is organized and a self-starter; able to scope projects and drive initiatives
- Is able to prioritize and quickly adapt to changing environment and competing priorities
- Is data savvy; able to drive insights from large data set and come up with action plan
- Strong written communication skills in business French is an advantage

**Advantageous**:

- Previous experience with a payment gateway or similar
- Experience working with credit card terminals,** POS equipment is a plus.**:

- 1+ years Customer Service/ Technical Support experience preferred
