**About the Role**:
As a **Finance Administrator**, you will play a key role in managing the **full Creditors function**, assisting with **Debtors**, maintaining the **cashbook**, performing **bank reconciliations**, and supporting the **month-end close process**. This is a great opportunity to work within a collaborative team while expanding your finance skills.

**Responsibilities**:
**Debtors Function**:

- Allocate funds received in bank accounts and capture transactions.
- Liaise with debtors regarding payments, invoices, statements, and reconciliations.
- Process reimbursements and handle account discrepancies.
- Open new customer accounts.
- Perform ad-hoc administrative tasks and data capturing.

**Creditors Function**:

- Ensure timely payments within supplier credit terms.
- Process, verify, and reconcile supplier invoices and expenses.
- Allocate expenses to correct accounts and cost centres.
- Ensure credit notes are received for outstanding memos.
- Liaise with suppliers regarding outstanding documents and statements.
- Perform ad-hoc administrative tasks and data capturing.

**Finance Administration & Reporting**:

- Maintain and update daily cashbook records.
- Perform daily, weekly, and monthly bank reconciliations.
- Assist with month-end close, including journal entries and accruals.
- Support the preparation of monthly management accounts and financial reports.
- Post and reconcile entries to the general ledger.

**Compliance & Audit Support**:

- Assist with VAT, PAYE, UIF, and SDL submissions.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
- Prepare documentation for internal and external audits.

**Process Improvement & Administration**:

- Identify and recommend process improvements within the finance function.
- Manage petty cash and employee reimbursements.
- Maintain organized financial records and filing systems.

**What We’re Looking For**:

- Minimum **2-3 years** of experience in a similar finance or accounts role.
- Strong knowledge of **Debtors** and **Creditors** functions.
- Experience with **cashbook maintenance** and **bank reconciliations**.
- Proficiency in **accounting software** (e.g., Sage, Pastel, IQ Retail).
- Excellent Excel skills and attention to detail.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.

Salary

R25 000 CTC - This includes medical aid / Provident fund and guaranteed 13th Cheque.

Pay: R15 000,00 - R17 500,00 per month
