Assistant Company Secretary

**PURPOSE OF THE JOB**:
The Assistant Company Secretary will offer support to the Company Secretary in providing professional assistance to our organisation regarding compliance with amongst others, corporate governance, reporting requirements, budgeting, etc. In addition, support the department to assess and manage compliance in the governance domain by gathering and evaluating relevant information to determine governance priorities.
**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:
Ensure the organisation complies with corporate governance laws, prescripts, regulations and best practice.
Provide secretarial support to Board Committees and Distribution Agencies. Ensure the effective and efficient corporate governance administration of the organisation.
Chairpersons of the DAs with information related to the internal and external auditing of the organisation.
Research and report on trends and developments in the governance domain to support the Corporate Secretary to determine governance.
Priorities.
**QUALIFICATIONS**:
B-degree in Law qualification.
**REQUIRED EXPERIENCE**:
3 5 years experience in managing, implementing and executing governance strategies, of which 2 3 years should have been management experience in public service/administration.
