Job Description: Stock Controller - Dispatch & Receiving

**Key Responsibilities and Duties**:
Ensure that the Standard Operating Procedures relating to the management and control of inventory are known, understood, and followed. You will be responsible for enhancing the customer experience by ensuring that all orders / returns are timeously and efficiently delivered within the specific timeframes, oversee the day-to-day operational requirements of the warehouse functions, and facilitate the responsible functions set out by Management. To ensure maintenance of stock levels, maintaining an accurate record of inventory and stock management systems according to set standards.

Vacancy Details

Maintain accurate records of the quantity and value of stock on hand.

Monitor stock levels and initiate orders, when necessary, with procurement

Prepare, generate, and file inventory reports, review reports monthly with management.

Nurture positive relationships with suppliers and provide customer service as needed.

Ensure invoicing is done timeously to ensure accurate stock levels are maintained.

Conduct spot checks on zone locations to ensure zone accuracy.

Ensure that physical stock and stock on hand aligns in terms of product, location, and quantity.

Measure obsolete stock as well as slow moving stock.

Capturing in-coming & out-going inventory

Ensure that the costing information is correctly uploaded during the GRV process.

Ensure that daily, weekly, and monthly stock reports are completed and provided to the relevant management.

Investigate stock variances and assist in provision of resolution.

Analise reports with the aim of identifying solutions for improvement and or resolution of problem areas.

The person needs to be pro-efficient and pay careful attention to detail concerning Stock Levels & Stock Quantities. Proficiency to do price-tag so that it corresponds with the same item and work well under pressure.

Be able to perform tasks that may fall outside the scope of this job description and that may come up from time to time considering any training that may not be needed to perform the task.

**Desired Experience & Qualifications**
- 5-6 Years Experience
- Computer Skills: Ability to use retail software to accurately track and manage stock levels.
- Excel
- Outlook
- High school diploma
- Experience is Essential
- Attention to detail: Ability to accurately monitor stock levels and identify discrepancies.
- Organization: Ability to effectively manage time and resources to ensure accurate inventory levels.
- Problem Solving: Ability to identify and resolve problems related to stock control.
- Ability to work with little supervision in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility: Ability to adjust to changes in the environment and adapt to new processes.
- Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively with other team members and departments to ensure stock levels are maintained.
