As a Human Resource Representative, you will be a key player in fostering a productive, inclusive, and compliant work environment. You will support the HR team in various functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, benefits administration, and performance management. This role requires an individual who is people-focused, detail-oriented, and knowledgeable about South African labor laws.

**Key Responsibilities**
- **Recruitment & Onboarding**: Assist with the recruitment process, including posting job advertisements, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, conducting reference checks, and ensuring a smooth on boarding experience.
- **Employee Relations**: Act as a point of contact for employees on HR-related queries, assist in resolving employee issues, and promote a positive workplace culture.
- **Policy Compliance**: Ensure compliance with South African labor laws and internal HR policies. Assist in developing and implementing policies in alignment with local regulations.
- **Benefits Administration**: Assist in managing employee benefits, answer employee questions related to benefits, and liaise with external providers.
- **Record Keeping & Reporting**: Maintain and update employee records, handle documentation related to new hires, transfers, promotions, and terminations.
- **Training & Development**: Support training initiatives by coordinating sessions and tracking participation and development metrics.
- **Performance Management**: Assist in the implementation and management of performance appraisals and development plans.

**Qualifications and Skills**
- **Education**: Diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- **Experience**: Minimum of 2-3 years in an HR support role, ideally within a South African business environment.
- **Knowledge**: Strong knowledge of South African labor laws and regulations.
- **Skills**:

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and HR software (e.g., Sage HR, Psciber etc.).
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
