**JOB SUMMARY**

**Responsibilities & Duties**

The responsibility of the Junior Recruiter is not exhaustive and may change from time to time as decided by Management.

**People Responsibility**:

- Identify Hiring needs and fill job openings
- Identifying future hiring needs.
- designing and drafting job descriptions,
- Conducting interviews and sorting through applicants to fill open positions.

- Communicate the start of the training group to all the relevant stakeholders timeously.

**Business Responsibility**:

- Keeping abreast of employment law and legislation
- Conducting interviews and sorting through applicants to fill open positions.
- Post adverts on suitable platforms like Indeed, LinkedIn, Facebook, Pnet, etc.
- Coordinate and schedule interviews with the hiring manager and any others involved in the hiring process.
- Completing recruitment trackers and reports
- Managing background checks and reference checks
- Adhere to admin deadlines in submitting documents and reports:

- Recruitment tracker and reports
- Attendance register on the first day of training and training admin.
- Resource Management (Printing paper etc.)
- **Key Performance Measures**:
1. Meet recruitment timelines for different positions

3. Retention of consultants recruited at least a month

4. Recruitment Reporting to business and its outcomes

5. Personnel management (absenteeism, late coming, managing staff issues)

6. Quality of the new recruits
- **Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities**
- A bachelor's degree in human resources or equivalent qualification.
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Good Listener
- Cultural awareness
- Organized and detail-oriented
- Remains up-to-date with employment legislature
- The ability to conduct different types of interviews.
- Experience with recruitment processes and databases.
- The ability to design and implement recruiting strategies.
- Good decision-making skills.
- Admin capability - Report on all recruitment activities in the branch
- Ability to meet business timelines and handle pressure
