**THE OPPORTUNITY**

We have an opportunity for an experienced **Store** **Development Manager** to join our **Development** team. This role aims to identify strategic areas for business expansion and sites for consideration for restaurant new builds or relocation. Regular travelling will form part of the normal working routine.

**DUTIES/ RESPONSIBILITIES**

**Site Selection**
- Assist the Development Team in identifying strategic areas for expansion.
- Identify and recommend new sites for expansion and/or relocation within the strategic areas.
- Act as a regional “filter” to ensure that only sites with a strong chance of success are presented for consideration.
- Obtain contact details and proposed lease terms from landlords of short-listed sites for viability assessments.
- Maintain continuous contact with landlords, brokers & other sources of potential sites.
- Proactively seek out opportunities for more cost-effective build and material solutions.

**Asset Management**
- Populate the asset database to keep a record of opportunities and negotiations on target sites.

**Stakeholder Management**
- Manage stakeholder relationships.
- Stakeholders include:

- Developers, landlords, leasing agents & site acquisition specialists
- Contractors, suppliers & architects
- Hungry Lion Development & Finance Departments
- Local authorities

**REQUIREMENTS**
- Undergraduate/postgraduate qualification required, with a background in Commercial Property or Town Planning preferred.
- Minimum 5 years in network planning and development in Retail or Construction.
- Competent in Google Workspace/MS Office.
- Bilingual (multilingual beneficial).
- Valid driver’s licence.
