Position Overview:

We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join our team as a part-time In-Store Shopping Stylist at our Stellenbosch Central Store.
The role involves providing personalised styling assistance to customers, maintaining the store's visual merchandising standards, ensuring an engaging shopping experience, and staying knowledgeable about FIELDS' product lines to offer informed recommendations. The stylist will also handle sales transactions and assist with inventory management.

Qualification & Requirements:

  • Completed or be in the process of completing a university/college degree or has at least 3 years of working experience. Experience in the fields of retail, hospitality, the arts, or customer service is advantageous.

Duties:

In-Store Style and Sales:

  • Provide style advice and educate customers about our brand, products, and the FIELDS journey.
  • Prepare garments for sale, including steaming and adding swing tags to meet FIELDS standards.
  • Process sales/exchange transactions accurately and efficiently as per our SOPs.
  • Conduct end-of-day cash reconciliations, ensuring accountability for your sales and their accuracy.
  • Maintain the store's readiness and cleanliness to welcome customers.
  • Steam, fold and put away items that have been tried on.
  • Ensure display areas and mannequins are well-maintained and showcase the brand according to our standards.

Store Back-office:

  • Organise and maintain the stock room according to specifications.
  • Conduct regular stock counts to ensure inventory accuracy.
  • Assist with the fulfilling of online orders and other administrative tasks as required.

Work Schedule:

  • One-three shifts per week at FIELDS Stellenbosch.
  • The store operates from Monday to Sunday.
  • Each shift will be 5-8 hours.
  • Availability over December-January holidays is advantageous.
