Our Client a global tech firm is seeking an Agile Product Owner in Sandton. They offer stability, growth, attractive salary along with excellent and a great working environment.

Our Client in a Digital and broadcasting space support 73 days of live sports events throughout the year. The role is to manage the development of the solution for those events, and then manage the successful delivery of the solution during the events

As an Agile Product Owner, you will be responsible for the strategic direction of product development. You'll take ownership of planning and managing project schedules in a way that ensures value is delivered to customers through consistent releases at regular intervals. You will work with stakeholders to define their requirements, establish prioritization criteria and ensure that all deliverables are completed on time and within budget.

**Requirements**:

- Development or Technical background is a bonus
- Understand the Scrum Framework and Agile methodologies
- Be the Projects key stakeholder representing Users and Business working together with the Software Development Teams to deliver high quality software products
- Be responsible for validating product ideas with reviews of plans and work-in progress with Customers, Architects and Product Teams
- Conduct user research and develop wireframes and specs for new product features
- Working with Stakeholders and Development Team
- Manage multiple feature development in one backlog
- Manage projects, BAU work and product roadmap priorities simultaneously
- Assist with product/system/process documentation to support Users and Business continuity
- Proven experience as a Product Owner or related role
- Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills
- Strong research skills
- Excellent time-management and organizational skills
- Team player that is easy to work with and that functions in any size team

- Uses initiative, shows determination and commitment to delivery

**Qualifications**
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field required
- Three years of experience as a software product owner/product manager with a strong background in Agile methodologies.
- Experience with Scrum methodology a plus.
- Agile related certifications
