Key responsibilities:
- Supervising Accounts Payable Team;
- Checking of invoices for accuracy, tax compliance & matching to purchase orders;
- Ensure correct expense allocation;
- Management of AP ageing, ensuring timely payments;
- Balancing Accounts Payable ledger to the General Ledger;
- Resolve payment related queries;
- Maintain organized recordkeeping;
- Reconcile travel advances;
- Maintain pre-payment and operating equipment schedules;
- Ensure correct cost allocation for SLAs;
- Month-end processes i.e. re-allocations of expenses and accruals;
- Reconciliation of Balance Sheet Accounts.
Requirements:
- Advanced knowledge of Excel;
- Experience on Accounting software;
- Tertiary qualification in accounting / bookkeeping;
- Must have knowledge of Input VAT;
- Working experience in accounts payable / creditors an advantage;
- Comfortable interacting with internal clients at senior level and suppliers;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
- Accuracy & attention to detail;
- Deadline oriented.
