Our client has an opportunity available for an Account Payable Supervisor based in Cape Town.

**Requirements**:

- Matric
- Financial diploma or a relevant qualification.
- SAGE 300 or ACCPAC experience and report writing is essential.
- Knowledge of relevant brand product and process.
- Knowledge of information management industry in South Africa.
- Knowledge of the IT industry.
- Great people management and time management skills.
- Experience working with bank reconciliations and all accounting journals.
- 5+ years working experience within the Finance department.
- Proven experience:

- Working with 100 to 500 vendors or suppliers.
- Record working in a fast-paced environment.
- In a supervisory role managing a team of at least 4 to 6 people.
- In managing Foreign Payments.
- In managing an Accounts Payable book of R100 mil to R400 mil including foreign and local payables.
- Working with international clients.
- IT distribution experience would be advantageous.

KPAs:

- Supervise the Accounts Payable team.
- Reconciliate allocated general ledger accounts and payment of vendor accounts.
- Load the payment for Foreign and African vendors.
- Manage all financial year end audit requirements for the AP team.
- Manage the vendor master file for all companies.
- Validation and verification of all AP adjustments and Nett Offs in the system.
