**Job description**:
To provide an effective office assistant function to Advisers through reliable support, office administration, reception, switchboard duties, and client administration.

**Responsibilities**:

- Answering/redirecting all incoming calls and taking messages
- Boardroom meeting reservations
- Make tea and coffee for clients
- Arrange appointments with client or prospects on behalf of the Adviser
- Prepare prospective client files as needed
- General office management assistance and purchase management
- Greet and welcome guests as soon as they arrive at the office
- Direct visitors to the appropriate person
- Receiving, distributing, and processing all incoming and outgoing mail

**Skill sets required**:

- Grade 12
- Computer literate (MS Office - Excel, Word, and Outlook)
- Minimum 1 - 2 years’ experience as a receptionist
- Professional attitude and appearance
- Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise
- Multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks
- Must be punctual
- Client services and telephone etiquette
- Team player
- Time management skills
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organisational skills
