A minimum of 3 years’ proven and comprehensive teaching experience in higher education. Author of a substantial number of quality accredited research articles/books/chapters in the field. Leading and participating in research projects is preferable. Supervisor of completed masters and PhD studies. Functional / Technical Competencies (Knowledge and Skills): Have a proven record of presenting at/attending relevant national and international conferences. Demonstrate leadership in the field. Involvement in teaching and/or research activities at community level. Record of national and international networking, collaboration, and recognition. Behavioural Competencies: Team worker. Good interpersonal relations. Remuneration: The annual total remuneration package will be commensurate with the level of appointment as advertised and in line with the NWU policy guidelines.
