**Job Purpose**
- Provincial Treasury, Western Cape Government has an opportunity for a suitably qualified and competent individual to provide corporate communication services to the department. This post is stationed at Cape Town, CBD.

**Minimum Requirements**
- An appropriate 3-year National Diploma/B-Degree (equivalent or higher qualification) in Communications, Public relations or related field; A minimum of 1 year relevant experience; A valid (Code B or higher) driving licence.

**Recommendation**
- Experience in the following: Graphic design using Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator), Mailchimp and Canva; Digital and
social media; Photography; Web content management and systems as Drupal.

**Key Performance Areas**
- Develop, monitor and enhance the department’s corporate identity and brand; Design and implement communication campaigns and products; Coordinate and report on website analytics and social media campaigns; Provide a media liaison and events management service.

**Competencies**
- Knowledge of the following: Applicable policies, legislation, guidelines, standards, procedures and best practices; Public service procedures; Implementing communication policy and strategies; Global, regional, local, economic and social affairs impacting the citizen and the Western Cape Government; Skills needed: Proven computer literacy; Written and verbal communication; Social management; Graphic design.

**Remuneration**
- R 376 413 per annum (Salary level 8)
