- Accountable for all aspects of flight operations as well as leadership of the Flight Operations team (training, performance management)
- Responsible for the aerodrome operations on site, ground support and flight following services.
- Manage the relationship with air service providers, including contract management.
- Oversight of the intercontinental flight schedule and supervision of client flight dispatch procedures.
- Identification of flight windows consulting with weather provider and consideration of NOTAMs and asset availability.
- Communication with key internal stakeholders including air operators and regulators.
- Maintaining of Flight Schedule
- Payload manifest
- Point of contact for flight crews at FACT on matters such as (1) Weather briefings, (2) NOTAM briefings and (3) Abnormalities
- Ensuring all elements of the flight at the airport come together for a successful launch
- Flight Monitoring

**Qualifications and Experience**:

- Managing remote and technical teams
- Aviation operations management
- Capability and system development, preferably within a regulated and remote setting.
- Management of aviation charters
- User level understanding of meteorology and forecasting processes.
- Broad understanding of ICAO standards and aeronautical regulatory systems
- CRM aware
