Core Description
Works in an overlay capacity, collaborating with BCX sales teams across South Africa (Coastal region) to take responsibility for establishing relationships with organizations on behalf of BCX to implement and execute a successful plan focused on Cisco solutions.
Manages the engagement and development of significant deals. Key Deliverables / Primary Functions
Member of the team that covers South African region and lead the development of Cisco Networking solution business plan outlining the strategy for success and maximizing revenues.
Coach, lead, motivate, inspire and develop employees, in alignment with the BCX DNA, demonstrating a high level of engagement and talent retention.
Leading with purpose by ensuring that all teams understand the overall vision, direction, delivery process and responsibilities for their teams and the department as a whole, within the context of the larger organization.
Responsible for all aspects of assigned budget performance to achieve BCX revenue and EBITDA objectives.
Identify, monitor and analyze relevant specialist sales key performance indicators, collaborating with stakeholders to identify and implement solutions to performance outside agreed parameters.
Manage the full sales life cycle for all assigned teams, collaborating with stakeholders to ensure that performance at critical stages meets and exceeds targets required to achieve commercial goals and objectives.
Build and maintain a network of key external stakeholders, forming robust business relationships to support all relevant business development objectives.
Build and maintain a comprehensive knowledge of customer needs, sharing insights with internal stakeholders to influence decision making and support the development of appropriate customer strategies.
Build and maintain knowledge of competitor products and service, collaborating with internal stakeholders.
7 years experience in Business Development/Sales
OR
9 years experience in Business Development/Sales of which at least 2 years at management level Certifications Professional Memberships in Relevant Industry Level of Engagement & Span of Control Level of Engagement
