Position details:
Reports to: MD.
Reporting, total staff compliment: 45 to 50.
Job description / core competencies:

- Manage site staff, and measure and report back to Head Office.
- Ensure detailed planning and proactive procurement of material and resources.
- Liaising with clients’ technical management teams to formalize detailed quotations relating to maintenance or plant upgrades.
- Monitor quality of work as carried out by team.
- Manage project/site teams to ensure successful execution of projects.
- Ensure administrative closing of projects and invoicing thereof within correct periods.
- Ensure projects and jobs are done within budget and on time.

Job Qualifications, Skills & Experience:

- Ideal if you have insulation/cladding and maybe roof sheeting experience.
- A construction /engineering background.
- Tertiary education within engineering field (degree or diploma) would be advantageous.
- Strong project management ability and understanding of fabrication, cladding and insulation.
- Able to work well with various people and cultures.
- Must have at least 3-5 years site management experience.
- Must be able to manage the site in order to abide to client expectations.
- Computer literate (Excel, SAP, MS Projects, etc.)
- Willing to work overtime and over weekends.
- Able to excel in a fast-paced and pressured environment.
- Must be self-driven and passionate about project management.

Company Description:
Contracting, maintenance and refurbishment specialists working with modernised equipment to manufacture thermal insulation (hot and cold) as well as sheet metal for greenfield, brownfield, plant refurbishments and shutdown projects. Applications include major plant and equipment including tanks, boilers, ovens, bag filters, incinerators, piping, exhaust systems, heat exchangers, waste gas flues, turbines, air conditioners, chiller, cryogenic plants and many more. Designs and fabricates to clients’ specifications.
