**POSITION**

**Continuous Improvement Manager for Mining services sector**

**LOCATION**

HO Johannesburg but will have to travel to project sites in AFRICA e.g. DRC

**REPORTING TO**

Director

**MAIN**

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Identify issues and problem structuring independently for projects related to operational efficiency improvements. (baseline setting, improvement actions, hands-on implementation, training)
- Establish client contacts and build strong client working relationships.
- Produce project time plan with clear milestones and action plans.
- Manage own workstream with a good estimate of time requirements.
- Challenge client thinking and supply innovative solutions.
- Coach Junior CI Analysts, client personnel,
- Structure, write and deliver complete project presentations.**QUALIFICATIONS &**

**EXPERIENCE**
- Civil or Industrial Engineer with 4 - 6 years working experience.
- Experience in the Construction, Manufacturing or Mining industry, working with Lean, Six Sigma implementation.
- Strong numerical, analytical and problem solving skills.
- Significant experience working with a team.
- Capable of producing and delivering presentations to executive management.
- Proficient in full Microsoft Office Suite as well as Lean operating tools such as MIFA, 5S, SOP, JIT/Takt/Kanban, OEE/OPE, SMED, TPM
- Should have knowledge of Performance Management structure and change management.

**Salary**: From R60,000.00 per month

- Johannesburg North, Gauteng: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
