**Purpose of role**:
To ensure that creditors accounts are entered, maintained and reconciled and to ensure that all payments are made on time, within agreed payment terms, and to ensure that all items charged for represent valid products, services procured at the agreed price/rates.

**Main responsibilities**:

- Ensure that foreign creditors are processed in terms of shipments, invoices and credit notes.
- Ensure that invoices are checked against stock receipts.
- Manage month end payments.
- Ensure that creditors and clearing agents are reconciled.
- Ensure that suppliers (where applicable) provide their most recent BBBEE certificates
- Prepare payruns for EUR, USD and ZAR and ensure CFO is presented with required supporting documentation to authorise payments
- Prepare trend analysis for payments to identify anomalies
- Provide challenge where irregular/excessive spend is identified
- The duties and responsibilities of this role has been mastered.
- Work can be produced with minimum supervision.
- Work activities/job duties are consistently thorough and accurate.
- Volume of daily workload is consistently high, therefore productive and fast.

- Cashbook capturing and reconciliation

Please note that Ad Hoc duties may be required and directed by Senior Management from time-to-time.

**Essential requirements**:

- Matric (Grade 12)
- 5 years plus experience in creditor - specifically foreign creditors
- Advanced excel skills
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills
- Understanding of payments and accounting

**Beneficial requirements**:

- Previous experience with Google suite software package
- Have worked on more than one accounting package
