**Minimum Requirements**
- Relevant HR qualification (minimum 4 years)
- 4-5 years relevant experience in an HR Generalist position performing the full HR function ideally gained in a nursing care environment
- Must have Sage Pastel payroll experience
- Time & attendance system experience, preferably Eco-Time
- Excellent skills in MS Office incl. word/excel
- Strong interpersonal & relationship building skills
- People Management, Listening & Empathy, Interpersonal & Networking Skills
- Exceptional verbal & written communication skills
- Experience using the COIDA online portal
- Good experience in industrial relations, recruitment, training including working with SETA and Employment Equity
- Ability to plan well and multi-task & work well under pressure
- Highly self-motivated and able to work independently
- Own transport & driver license
- Ability to work flexible working hours to be available for consultation with Nightshift employees
- Exceptional level of confidentiality

**Brief Description of KPA's**
- HR Administration including preparation of contracts of employment and management of LDC
- Induction with new employees on policies & procedures timeously
- Support HOD’s where necessary with the onboarding of new staff
- Ensure policies & procedures are updated and filed regularly & communicate any changes accordingly
- HR Management reporting (including statutory reporting like EE and BEE reporting)
- Monitor Health and safety including COIDA submissions using the online portal
- Training including needs identification, Induction, Co-ordination of training; support WSP/ATR reporting
- Industrial relations including supporting management with disciplinary procedures and providing continuous feedback to management with regards to any HR related matters
- Leave management: capture & monitor leave transactions & address any discrepancies in accordance with Leave and absence policy
- Provide Management with monthly updates on leave usage
- Daily management of Time and Attendance system to ensure hours are accurate and to monitor
- Provide HOD’s and management with relevant attendance reports where necessary
- Payroll: ensure hours are accurate for payroll processing and meet set deadlines
- Pension fund: ensure pension fund forms are completed & sent through to Financial Accountant by set deadlines. Follow up and adhere to pension-related requests/queries timeously
- Communicate any Pension fund changes_updates to staff timeously
- Organizational Development including management of performance appraisals
- Communicate the company values and standards to staff members
- Drafting and distributing relevant communication memo’s to staff as per General Manager’s request
- Employment Equity reporting including coordination of forum meetings
- Employee Wellness initiatives
- Foster open & constructive employee relations climate
- Handle counselling, grievance & disciplinary situations in line with Company Policy, BCEA & LRA, maintaining appropriate documentation
- Conduct random security checks as required or when deemed necessary by management
- Assist & support with BBBEE verification process
- Keep abreast of any labour/legislative changes/amendments and ensure to keep management up to date
- Facilitate audits to ensure adherence & compliance to policies & procedures
- Keep HR server updated_ensure digitization of employee records is actioned timeously
- Support with Ad-hoc related projects as operationally required

**Experience**:

- Human Resources: 4 years (required)
- SAGE Pastel Payroll: 1 year (required)
