BOA Beauty Bar is one of South Africa's fastest-growing beauty brands, with 20+ luxury nail salons and a team of over 400 talented professionals. We are expanding our HR Department and are looking for a confident, people-focused 
HR Generalist
 to join our team of two – supporting our Head of HR and working alongside an existing HR Generalist.

This is a dynamic, hands-on role with strong focus on:

Recruitment · Staff Evaluations & Development · Employee Relations (IR) · Policies & Compliance

What You Will Do

  • Support end-to-end recruitment for salon and management roles (posting, screening, interviewing, onboarding).
  • Conduct performance evaluations and assist with staff development planning.
  • Handle 
    disciplinary processes
    , grievances, and conflict resolution professionally and fairly.
  • Maintain and update HR records, contracts, policies, and compliance documents.
  • Assist with employee wellness and retention initiatives.
  • Work closely with salon managers and regional teams to ensure positive staff culture.
  • Participate in HR strategy, structure, and systems improvements as BOA continues to grow.

What You'll Bring

  • 3+ years HR experience
    (Generalist / HR Officer / HR Administrator level or higher).
  • Strong knowledge of 
    IR practices
    , disciplinary processes, and South African labour legislation.
  • Confidence in interviewing, staff communication, and leading employee conversations.
  • Solution-oriented mindset and ability to work under pressure in a growing organisation.
  • Excellent organization, reporting, and follow-through.
  • Warm, respectful communication style that builds trust.

Beauty, retail, hospitality, or multi-branch organization experience will be an 
advantage
, but not required.
