**DSV - Global transport and logistics** Location: Kempton Park Job Posting Title: Business Change Manager Time Type: Full Time **MAIN PURPOSE OF THE ROLE** Responsible for designing, planning and implementing logistics solutions, whilst managing stakeholder (internal & external) expectations throughout the solution design and implementation phase. This role directly supports company objectives and contributes to identifying, analyzing & developing value-adding and robust solutions for current & prospective customers. The role directly supports the SIGMA goals and Strategy for DSV Road Logistics, identifying, analyzing, and implementing CIP initiatives for Road Logistics. Successful collaboration with Operations team & other internal stakeholders is critical. **Tertiary Qualification(s)** **B-Eng** **Degree** in Industrial Engineering **Computer Skills required** - Microsoft Access - Beneficial - SQL - Beneficial - Microsoft Visio and Microsoft Project - SharePoint - Power Apps - ERP Systems Knowledge - Beneficial - TMS (Transport Management Systems) Knowledge - Beneficial - PYTHON - Beneficial **Minimum Requirements**: - Minimum 5 years or more relevant logistics & supply chain management experience or other industry related experience. - Supply Chain Optimization, planning and design. - Unendorsed license & own transport; - Ability to travel around Gauteng, South Africa - Excellent written & verbal communications skills; - Strong interpersonal skills & able to work in a collaborative & team-based environment; - Aptitude to multi-task & employ effective problem solving abilities; - Detail Orientated and Analytical **Job-related Requirements** - Industrial Engineering experience: > 3 years in the logistics Industry - beneficial - SIGMA experience: > 3 years in the Logistics Industry - beneficial - Leadership experience in Project or Operations role: > 2 years with effective staff performance management & development. - Detail oriented, high work rate & quality of work; - WMS/ERP Systems Skills and experience: > 2 years operational experience, development experience will be advantageous - TMS Systems Skills and experience: > 2 years will be advantageous - Route Optimization: > 3 years in route planning and Optimization will be advantageous **Electives** - General business acumen - Supply Chain and Network Optimization and Planning - Applied negotiation skills - Supply Chain Management accreditation such as CSCP, SCOR-P beneficial **DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES** - Engineered Solutions: Identify, analyse & develop value-adding solutions for current & prospective clients; - OPS Support: Identify Continuous Improvement opportunities in collaboration with Operations and Management. Develop robust solutions to implement and sustain cost saving initiatives throughout the business. - Analysis and recommendations: 1) Data (analysis, comparison, sense checking), 2) Processes (supporting business objectives, complete, accurate, relevant, error proofed, common exceptions covered, measurable), 3) Facilities (best practices, flow, flexibility, compliance); - Business cases / feasibility studies: Develop as required depending on financial investment required and risk profile. Tools and aspects to consider include ROI calculations, quantified value, opportunity for productivity improvements and future growth / revenue potential - Continuous Improvement Management: Manage and Report on Cost Saving and Sigma Initiatives - SIGMA: Identify and Implement SIGMA Initiatives - Group Facilitation: Leading & influencing a diverse group through planning and/or problem solving activities as required, including Advance Quality Planning (AQP) sessions; - Travel: Reasonable local travel requirement to use knowledge, skills and experience in support of relevant DSV business objectives **ADDITIONAL JOB INFORMATION** Must be able to work under pressure.
