**Chauffeur Driver and Administration Assistant**

A medical Dr in the Southern Suburbs of Cape Town is looking for a responsible, well-spoken, presentable and reliable chauffeur driver who will also be able to also attend to various administrative duties within his medical practice.

**Roles and Responsibilities but not limited to**:
**Transportation Duties**:

- Safely and efficiently transport Dr, patients, children, staff members and other passengers as required in and around Cape Town, ensuring everyone arrives safely and punctually at their destination
- Carry out airport pick-ups and drop-offs for patients and other designated individuals.
- Maintain effective communication with passengers to ensure a comfortable and safe journey
- Adhere to traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies to ensure the well-being of passengers
- Perform regular vehicle inspections and maintenance
- Maintain accurate records of trips, mileage, and vehicle-related expenses
- Demonstrate attentiveness and awareness of passenger needs, maintaining a high level of professionalism and customer service
- Be willing to adapt to changing schedules and respond to situations in a calm and adaptive manner
- Maintain passengers' privacy and confidentiality in all matters encountered during transportation and administrative duties
- Assist with administrative duties such as managing schedules, organizing travel itineraries, and maintaining vehicle records
- Follow safety protocols, including wearing seat belts, using turn signals, and obeying speed limits
- Keep in communication with passengers and supervisors to provide updates on the route, delays, or any issues that may arise
- Perform daily checks of the vehicle in terms of fluid levels, tire pressure, and fuel level.
- Keep the company vehicle clean and tidy
- Proactively respond to any emergencies

**Administrative Duties**
- Scanning of company information and documents
- Personal assistant duties such as arranging vehicle licenses, vehicle services, office inventory, making travel arrangements attending to any household administrative requirements

**Computer Skills**
- Ability to effectively work on Microsoft office suite packages
- Good computer literacy skills

**Qualifications and Requirements**:

- Minimum Grade 12 (Matric) Certificate
- Valid Code 8 drivers lisence with a clean driving record
- 1-2 years of chauffeur/driver experience
- First aid certification is advantageous
- No criminal record
- Ability to perform under pressure
- Proficient in using GPS systems and maps
- High degree of integrity, discretion, and confidentiality
- Display excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with passengers, children, and colleagues
- Excellent time management skills
- Good physical health and energetic and non smoker
- Flexibility to drive on weekends, nights, and public holidays
- Neat and presentable appearance
- Fluent in English (verbal and written)

**Hours**:
General hours: Monday to Friday 8h00 to 17h00

Flexibility to work after hours, on weekends if needed and public holidays

**Required**:
ASAP

**Experience**:

- Administrative office procedures, practices and equipment: 1 year (required)
- Chauffeur Driver: 1 year (preferred)
