**Transfer Preparation**
- Ensure that the permit and correct vehicle have been allocated to you
- Prepare vehicle as per procedure
- Ensure grooming and uniform is as per procedure
- Perform quality check on the vehicle (manually or via the App)
- Ensure that standard additional products are placed in the vehicle (water, umbrella and cooler bag)
- Ensure that all extra requirements (e.g. baby seats and trailers) are check to be operational and are provided
- Familiarise yourself with the itinerary and plan route accordingly
**Transfers/Disposals**
- Ensure that you arrive for your transfer on time
- Meet and greet the customer as per procedure
- Conduct the transfer/disposal as per procedure and ensure road safety rules are adhered to
- Ensure customer safety at all times
- Ensure correct usage of Chauffeur App at all times
- Ensure all signed RAs are returned to the office immediately
- Complete transfer/disposal as per customer requirements
- Return to office without any deviations once the transfer/disposal is completed
- Ensure the vehicle is refuelled and prepared for the next Chauffeur
- Chauffeurs must be available to assist on other contracts in the business.
**Service Failures**
- Report all service failures to the RSA/Supervisor on shift immediately once made aware
- Complete a Kwenzekeni (written statement of events) within 24 hours and submit to supervisor
- In the event of any exceptions, advise the RSAs immediately
**Fleet**
- Complete QCE or check sheet before and after transfer/disposal
- Report any damages or malfunctions to the Fleet Department timeously
**Accidents**
- In the event of an accident, ensure the safety of self, the customer and company asset
- Notify the office about the accident immediately
- Gather all relevant information and details e.g. third party details, witness details, police reports, photos of scene etc.
- If injured, follow the accident reporting procedure
- Complete the damage report form and sign the acknowledgement of debt form
**Health and Safety**
- Workplace is kept in a neat, dry and hygienic condition
- Equipment and detergents used according to safety specifications
- All assets are secured according to procedure (E.g. keys, QCE's, vacuum cleaner, detergents and other cleaning aids)
- Be aware of evacuation plan
- All concerns to be raised with supervisor/manager
**Ad hoc additional tasks**
- May be required to assist with ad hoc tasks in line with the core function of the role from time to time
- Assist with delivery and collection of Luxury rentals on request:
- For external deliveries, ensure you have the Rental Agreement, Point of Sale device/Credit Card Imprint machine as applicable
- Plan delivery and collection routines accordingly
- Prepare vehicle before delivery e.g. refuel, wipe down etc.
- Deliver vehicle to/collect vehicle from customer as per booking
- On delivery, confirm the validity of the driver's license/passport/credit card - contact the office if there are any irregularities
- Explain the Rental Agreement to the customer on delivery as well as car operations and features
- Obtain customer signature and credit card imprint
- Inspect the vehicle on delivery and collection with the customer, note any damage and assist the customer to complete a damage report where applicable
- Hand over or collect keys, return to the branch and hand over the Rental Agreement and other documentation to the RSA

- Offer exceptional service to customer at all times
- Ensure all customer interactions reflect the Avis Promises and Values
- Maintain customer and Avis confidentiality at all times
- Attend all daily huddles and team meetings where operationally possible
**4. Employees**
- Attend all one-on-one meetings and scorecard discussions as scheduled
- Attend all training and Human Capital information sessions
**Internal and External Stakeholders**
The role requires close engagement and collaboration with key internal and external stakeholders

**Academic Qualifications**
**Essential**:
- Matric
- Public Drivers Permit (PDP)
**Note**: Ad hoc national travel may be required from time to time
**Work Experience**
**Essential**:
- Minimum 3 years driving/chauffeuring experience
**Advantageous**:
- Customer service experience
