IT & Finance Support Administrator

To support our operations and growth, we are seeking a **multi-skilled individual** with a strong background in **Accounting/Finance** and a **solid IT skillset**, capable of bridging technical and financial operations in a fast-paced environment.
**Key Responsibilities**
**Information Technology Support**
- Provide **daily IT support** to all staff (hardware, software, network).
- Maintain and update the **company website** (content updates, troubleshooting, backups).
- Set up and maintain **office equipment** (printers, routers, phones, audiovisual devices).
- Provide **server setup and basic support** (backups, access, storage management).
- Assist with **software and hardware procurement**, including researching, evaluating, and recommending cost-effective solutions.
- Liaise with external IT service providers and ensure timely resolutions for escalated issues.
- Provide **support for internet connectivity and telephone systems**.
- Monitor and maintain **cybersecurity protocols**, including backups, access rights, and system updates.
**Finance & Administration Support**
- Capture and process financial data using relevant accounting software.
- Assist in the **compilation of financial statements**, management reports, and supporting documentation.
- Support with **VAT, PAYE, income tax** returns and correspondence with SARS.
- Handle **data analysis and reporting** for internal decision-making.
- Assist with **bookkeeping**, reconciliations, and supplier/customer account maintenance.
- Assist in budgeting and cost-control exercises.
- Maintain and manage **office supplies**, stationery, and printing consumables (ink, toner, etc.).
**Operational & Meeting Support**
- Prepare audiovisual setups for internal and client meetings (including Zoom/MS Teams).
- Assist with **special event/meeting setups** involving IT or presentation equipment.
- Provide **basic training/support to staff** for software tools (e.g. Excel, cloud systems, document sharing platforms).
**Qualifications and Experience**
- **Bachelor’s degree** or diploma or Advanced Diploma in **Financial Accounting, Accountancy, or a related field** with a strong **IT component** (e.g., Information Systems, Computer Science).
- Minimum **1-2 years’ experience** in a dual IT/Finance support role or similar environment.
- Working knowledge of accounting systems (e.g. Sage, Draft Worx) and Microsoft Office (especially Excel, Outlook, Word).
- Strong troubleshooting skills (software and hardware).
- Familiarity with website platforms (e.g. WordPress) and basic HTML/CSS is advantageous.
- Knowledge of SARS eFiling and relevant tax processes is a plus.
- Experience with server and network configuration (basic level) desirable.
