Inhouse Services Manager

**WE ARE HIRING **

Our client's business is growing and are recruiting for an INHOUSE SERVICES MANAGER. This role will report directly into the Head of Business, with service staff reporting into this new role, the Inhouse Services Manager.

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Matric as a minimum.
- Experience in UPS/Inverter servicing and installations; 4+years; Recommended
- Electrical installations and maintenance experience; 4+years; Recommended
- Management experience; 2+years; Advantageous
- Knowledge of UPS and Inverters
- Knowledge of customer service
- Able to communicate clearly with colleagues and clients timeously, written and verbally.
- Ability to manage others for a good outcome.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

**Testing and Repairs**
- All testing to be completed within 48 hours - not more than a week.
- Testing results are reported back to the clients as soon as testing is done.
- If there is no response from the client after the first attempt, it is followed up within 3 days with the clients to get an answer whether they want to proceed or not.
- If the client gives the go-ahead to proceed, only to proceed with the repair if proof of payment is received.
- Once the repair is completed, the equipment is cleaned up, pallet wrapped. The client is then contacted to collect unless delivery is specified and delivery costs were included in the quote/report.
- Repair equipment is housed on the dedicated booked-in-shelf.
- Once tested it is housed on the quarantine/tested shelf.
- Once repaired it is housed on the ready for collection shelf.
- Tests are done on a first come first serve basis, unless under guarantee, it is pushed to the front.
- Tools, workbenches are kept clean, neat and tidy at all times.
- Clients are kept in the loop at all times with regards to the status of the repair to ensure clients are informed and their expectations are managed.
- Client and online reviews to be 100% positive.

**National Client Servicing Relations**
- National client sites are maintained and supported with 100% client satisfaction.
- National clients that are serviced bi-annually are dealt with on-time and at a high standard.
- Technicians are scheduled and informed of the dates of the planned national services run.
- Clients are kept in the loop with regards to the servicing plan status and runs. When you are planning to do what, by when, any delays, etc. needs to be clearly communicated with the clients timeously.
- All field technician documents are scanned and sent to the client, once a week, for all the sites done that week.
- Clients are responded to within an hour.
- Any site issues are resolved within 24 hours and the client is notified.
- Maintenance sites are scheduled and completed as per the project plan.

**Warehousing**
- Stock is received and checked according to the waybill or purchase order. Quantity and quality is checked, any out of order stock is reported to the Head of Business.
- Stock received is packed into the correct demarcated bays/areas.
- Stock take is completed on the first of every month.
- Warehouse is to be kept clean, dust free, neat and tidy at all times.
- Any low (according to minimum levels per item) stock levels are reported to the Head of Business, via Skype, as soon as the stock levels go below the minimum level.
- Orders are processed, picked according to the orders notice board and admin is notified when ready for collection or despatch.
- Warehouse is well stocked (according to min levels per item), neat, clean and tidy.
- All items are housed in the specified demarcated area.
- Zero stock losses.
- 100% client satisfaction for all repairs, maintenance and purchases.

**Salary**: From R15,000.00 per month
