**Waste Station Facilitator**

**12 months fixed term Contract of Employment**

**Between R17 000 and R20 000 CTC per month** **depending on experience**

**Job purpose**:
Manage, analyse and report on the implementation of waste management programmes.

**Key performance areas**
- Coordinate the implementation of waste station programmes.
- Provide guidance, support, training and coaching to Waste Station Supervisors.
- Analysing of waste management related data
- Weekly and monthly reporting on all programmes.
- Facilitate waste management internal training and arrange for external training programmes for Supervisors
- Ensure that all activities are carried out within the policy framework of VPUU
- Ensure all waste data is collated and available for analysis.
- Coordinate organic waste collection schedules to optimize service and efficiency
- Keep a record of customer needs/ requests for service to determine service needs.

**Requirements**:

- Diploma or certificate in project management
- At least 2-3 years’ experience in coordinating projects
- At least 3 years’ experience in data analysis
- Waste management experience will be advantageous
- Experience in people/team management
- Knowledge of MS Word, PowerPoint and advanced excel skills
- Experience in report writing
- Effective oral/written communication skills in at least 2 of the following languages: English, isiXhosa, Afrikaans
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Valid Code EB drivers’ licence
- Valid COVID 19 vaccination certificate

**Job Types**: Full-time, Temporary
Contract length: 12 months

**Salary**: R17,000.00 - R20,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Cape Town, Western Cape: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- Diploma (preferred)

**Experience**:

- project management: 3 years (preferred)
- Microsoft Excel: 1 year (required)
