Established over 50 years ago, our client is a reputable real estate services business that has a solid track record of excellence in the management of Sectional Title and Homeowner Association schemes throughout the Western Cape region. Enjoying a steady flow of growth within the business, they are currently looking to increase their capacity through the appointment of an experienced Sectional Title Portfolio Manager to join their Cape Town based team. Reporting directly to the Director and Operations Manager, and with the support of administrative staff, you will take full responsibility for the effective management of an allocated portfolio consisting of Sectional Title and Homeowner Association schemes. Some of your duties in this role will include, but not be limited to:

- Overseeing the Facilities Administrator’s role with regards to the daily liaison with contractors, trustees, owners and or insurance companies
- Daily authorisation of creditor invoices
- Presentation of management packs at the trustee meetings
- Provide guidance to owners and trustees on the relevant Acts and procedural matters of meetings
- Negotiating with professional persons on behalf of the client
- Attending trustee and general meetings as required and preparing minutes for circulation
- Reviewing each buildings’ performance against budget and making suitable adjustments and projections
- Commenting on variances against budget for every building
- Investment of the clients’ excess funds in an investment account
- Preparation of annual budgets
- Sourcing of insurance quotes for the client
- Updating the 10-year maintenance plan and forecasts
- Site inspections

To qualify for this position, you will need to have:

- Matric Certificate
- FETC Real Estate (NQF 4) or equivalent
- Registration with the EAAB
- Valid fidelity fund certificate
- A minimum of 3 years’ sectional title property management experience
- Valid drivers license and your own reliable vehicle
